The instructors at esf La Bresse in Lispach offer group Nordic cross-country skiing lessons from the age of 8.
Two styles are available:
- Classic: The skis used are long and narrow. They have no metal edges, and the centre of the ski is waxed for retention, or alternatively fitted with scales for touring. This traditional technique, known as the classic, consists of moving forward in 2 parallel tracks. It is also known as the alternating step technique, because you glide from one foot to the other.
- Skating: Skating is practised with smooth skis, with no wax to hold them in place, so that the skis glide as smoothly as possible along their entire length. The ski is generally 3 to 10% larger than the skier. This style, which is similar to skating, is more demanding than classical skiing: it requires a certain level of physical fitness.

We offer group Nordic or Skating lessons from the age of 8.
These groups separate children and adults and are organised by level.
Our qualified instructors will help you get started or perfect your technique.
